Company description

Equissential was established in 2012, in the Isle of Man, when Sammy began her training as a saddle fitter with the SMS. Sammy qualified as an SMS QSF in 2015, and became an SMS Master Saddle Fitter in 2023. Sammy also holds City & Guilds Saddle II (2016) in saddle making which has given her an even more thorough understanding of saddle construction and maintenance.
Through Equissential, Sammy works as an independent Saddle Fitter with nearly 20 brands of saddle manufacturers and prides herself on finding the best solution for horse and rider, and providing regular follow up care.
Sammy is a competitive rider, enjoying eventing and dressage, and is a past Master of the local Bloodhound Hunt, and currently owns 5 horses herself.
Sammy is passionate about saddle fitting and continuing to learn more, and she is especially keen on working closely with other equine professionals, as well as keeping up to date with CPD.
Sammy is a Director of the Society of Master Saddlers and sits on a number of the SMS subcommittees.
